About Us

We are a group of active citizens living within the City of Atlanta who promote rights of the individual. Specifically, we present Libertarian principles of limited government and economic freedom to the government of Atlanta Georgia, the counties within, and the citizens.

You will find a variety of people at our meetings. Our commonality lies in the belief that we need to act on our principles. Actions we engage in for increasing liberty within Atlanta:

1. Attend, monitor, and voice Libertarian opinions at Atlanta City Council meetings.
2. Attend, monitor, and voice Libertarian opinions at County Commissioner meetings.
3. Run candidates for local races.
4. Raise funds for advertising Libertarian ideas to Atlanta's citizens.
5. Educate government and voters about the power of freedom.

Whoever you are, if you believe taxes are too high, that their are too many licenses, forms, regulations, speed traps, and invasions in your formerly private world - join us. We will help make your opinion heard and restore freedom to our daily lives.

The Libertarian Party of Georgia is a political party formed in 1972 and a state affiliate of the National Libertarian Party formed in 1971. The Libertarian Party is committed to America's heritage of freedom: individual liberty, personal responsibility, and community.
